About
Lorena Horng is a student from Houston, Texas currently attending college in Massachusetts. Most of her projects revolve around capturing the vitality of nature and exploring the bounds of surrealism and fantasy within the human imagination.
Her work has been recognized in the top 10% of artists from the state of Texas at the Visual Arts Scholastic Event (VASE), hosted by the Texas Arts and Education Association (TAEA). In 2021, she was awarded a gold key award from the Scholastic Art and Writing Competition.
Currently, she works as the Art Director of Rice & Spice Mag and is a resident illustrator for Antifragile Zine. She also has pieces published or forthcoming in Rice & Spice Mag, Superfroot Mag, Antifragile Zine, and Pollux Journal, among others.
